The school has established a new link with a school in Nuremberg, Germany. Berufsbildungswerk Nürnberg is a vocational school for young people with additional support needs. We will be receiving pupils from the school in May before we visit in June.
There are 3 places available for selection for s5 and s6 pupils. The trip will take place from 17th – 24th June and will be almost entirely funded with only a small contribution needed from parents/carers.
Pupils wanting to be selected have been asked to do a short talk this Friday. They may be supported by a teacher if required. The talk should focus upon the following points:
1. Pupil’s qualities - perhaps mentioning attendance/behaviour/uniform
2. What they have achieved this school year in school and college.
3. Why do they believe they should go? A reason which explains what they would get out of it/why they deserve the place.
4. 1 fact about Nuremberg.
Your son/daughter has indicated that they would like to be considered for a place on this residential trip. If you would like to know more please contact the school.
